Cancellation Policy
Full accommodation payment will be payable thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Credit cards will be charged.
Cancellations within 30-14 days prior to arrival will incur one night’s accommodation charge, per room.
Cancellations within 14 days, and no-shows will incur 100% full cancellation fees.

Accommodation Terms & Conditions
Bookings
The online registration form allows you to book available rooms. You need to provide credit card details, which will be forwarded to the hotel to guarantee your booking.
Please email us your accommodation requirements if you have already registered for the Conference.
We recommend you book accommodation early as hotels require unsold rooms to be released at 90, 60 and 30 days prior.
Extended Bookings
Please email us if you wish to extend your accommodation booking before or after the Conference.
Changes and Cancellations
Please note the cancellation policies listed for each hotel. Cancellations and no-shows will attract a fee of at least one night’s accommodation. However, each hotel’s policy varies and late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for all the nights booked.
Please email us any cancellations and date changes.
Payment
Accommodation and incidental expenses need to be settled using a credit card when you check out.
You can arrange to pay your accommodation using a third-party credit card, e.g. a colleague’s work credit card, by completing the form below and email it to your confirmed hotel 30-days prior to the conference.
Please email us if you wish to be invoiced for your accommodation with your registration. Any pre-payments made to Conference Design will be forwarded to your hotel. Pre-payments need to be received 30 days prior to the conference.
Early Check-in Requests
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability on the day and cannot be confirmed by Conference Design.
You can enter special requests for early check-in in the “Special Requests” field of your reservation. The hotel will do its best to accommodate your request on the day. Please enquire about the status of your request at the front desk upon check-in.
Payment Policy
Payment is due within 7 days of submitting your registration. If you are registering within 21 days of the conference you will be required to pay with a credit card when registering online.
Confirmations and Tax Invoices
A confirmation with a PDF Tax Invoice will be emailed when you submit your registration. If you pay by credit card a receipt will also be attached.
Currency and GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and exclude GST. GST will be applied to non-state school registrations during the registration process.
Insurance
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out appropriate insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions.
Neither the Committee or Conference Design Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings.
Terms & Conditions
Credit Card Payments
Credit card charges appear as Conference Design Pty Ltd on your card statement. When using the online payment system credit cards are processed directly by ANZ eGate and Conference Design does not store or transmit your credit card details. ANZ eGate is a secure and PCI compliant platform.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Registrations cancelled up to 60 days prior to the Conference will be eligible for a full refund where payment was made online by credit card. In all other cases a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. All cancellations must be advised via email to Conference Design.
Cancellations notified after this date will not be eligible for any refund, however another person may attend the Conference.
Visas
Due to strict visa requirements for the countries listed below, registrations and presentations will not be confirmed until the applicant has obtained a visa.

Conference Cancellation or Postponement
The members of the Committee and Conference Design Pty Ltd do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event of the Conference being cancelled or postponed due to an unforeseen event or any other event that renders performance of this conference inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible.
An unforeseen event shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
