It is becoming increasingly popular for students to undertake VET qualifications in combination with their mainstream school sector course, either directly with their school or through a partnership with a third-party RTO. While there is a wide scope of study options available to domestic students, overseas students have a number of visa and ESOS restrictions that limit their study options while they are enrolled in their school sector course. This panel discussion will outline the impact this has on overseas students wanting to enrol in VET subjects while studying in a high school and provide clarity around how to manage and process these enrolments.
