Dr Sally Varnham is a Professor of Law at the University of Technology Sydney.   She was previously Chair of the University Academic Board and is currently a member of the UTS Council.  Sally’s current research concentrates on the role of student voice in tertiary institution decision-making and governance and she has a National Senior Teaching Fellowship entitled: Creating a Framework for Student Partnership in University Decision-Making and Governance’.
Sally’s research in law and policy in education is widely published in Australia and abroad and she regularly presents at national and international conferences.  She is a co-editor of ‘Higher Education and the Law’ (Federation Press, 2015); co-author of “Law for Educators: School and University Law in Australia” (LexisNexis, 2007).
