QCE requirements for offshore schools

The session will focus on the existing Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) requirements and how offshore providers can enhance the quality of the their existing practices. This session will include an introduction to the new QCE requirements that will be in place for onshore schools from next year.


Leanne is an Assistant Director with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). She is responsible for the total quality management system that contributes to the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). The QCAA as a delegate of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), registers and audits Queensland school Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Leanne’s role at the QCAA involves leading the audit and registration activities as well as the development of advice and support resources for Queensland school RTOs. Leanne leads the QCAA’s work with international schools who offer QCAA syllabuses and the QCE.
