1Director, John Paul International College
Each decade, each year, each day, we find ourselves poised on the brink of another new world of “information, communication and mobility”, the world at large; the world our students embrace and participate in.
Although the benefits of change may be hard to predict, the “intrapreneur” in any organisation is key to this process.
Risk often has a negative connotation in the entrepreneurial situation, but in the intrapreneurial situation, risk management is integral to success and growth.
Risk Making, identifying a challenge or opportunity, and facing it with courage, is the hallmark of an intrapreneur, nowhere more so than in the International Education arena.
As Founding Director of John Paul International College (1997), he was a pioneer in international education and responsible for the College’s development and significant growth in the competitive International Private Education and Training environment at that time.
As a working Director of a College that operates across the sectors of ELICOS, School, VET in Schools and Pathways, Russell has a broad understanding of the International Education landscape.
Russell also has great insight into the current demands, challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the International Education arena and is passionate about the contribution International Education & Training makes to the Australian and Global communities.
