Wendy has over 25 years experience in the international education industry. She has worked to build Education Queensland International’s (EQI) study tour program to be the leading school sector provider in Australia. She has also worked to quality assure the Department’s Year 10 Offshore program and the Unilearn program delivered in China.
More recently she has focused on growing and quality assuring the Department’s International Student Programs within the continually expanding network of internationally accredited State schools across Queensland. She has expertise in developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Education Services for Overseas Students legislative framework and in leading the development of international support staff who are the Department’s most valuable asset in our accredited schools. Her vision is to ensure the services and support provided to international students is of an exceptional standard and the wellbeing and educational outcomes of our international students are the envy of the industry both within Australia and overseas
